Since 1927 New York Council of Nonprofits Inc. (NYCON) has provided targeted trainings, consulting, and resources that strengthen nonprofit organizations to be more effective at accomplishing their missions. Through supporting NYCON, you help unleash the power of nonprofits across New York State. In the last year alone NYCON and its affiliates:

Welcomed 2,500 registrants to 59 webinars, conferences, and educational events.
Worked with more than 300 nonprofits on projects from mergers and DEI assessments to strategic plans and board training.
Provided liability insurance and benefits to more than 1,400 nonprofit organizations.
Provided fiscal sponsorship for 17 organizations and employment administration for three.
Successfully advocated for legislative efforts, including a Senate bill related to modernizing not-for-profit law.
Maintained a board-matching online tool that saw 400 new nonprofits and 1,500 new board candidates using the system to create matches for board service.
