What “Time & Effort” Reporting Means To You: A special workshop for nonprofit organizations funded by the Department of Health AIDS Institute

For many nonprofit organizations “Time and Effort Reporting” is a misunderstood and mysterious phrase...If your organization receives state or federal funds it is crucial that board members, management and staff all understand that failure to report time and effort correctly can have a direct impact on the fiscal health of your nonprofit.

To those providers not acquainted with Time & Effort reporting, the process can be confusing and is often misunderstood. The possibility of federal and/or state audits makes a compelling case for organizations to become more proficient in meeting these requirements.

This seminar will provide you with the information you need to know in addition to basic internal controls to assist you in managing time and effort  reporting.

 You will learn:

  •  Definition of Time & Effort Reporting
  •  Proper Time & Effort Reporting Protocol
  • Best Practices for Internal Controls for Time & Effort Reporting (including proper document retention policies.
  • Tools to Help Your Staff and Board Understand
