Today NYCON is "Celebrating Our Roots!"

As many of you may know, NYCON is celebrating its 90th Anniversary throughout 2017.  To recognize the day (March 3, 1927), NYCON (then Albany Council of Social Agencies) was conceptualized, we took a look back at memorable moments, posting notable milestones and photos of board and staff leadership through the years.

To celebrate the day NYCON formalized (June 27th), we’re having a “Celebrating Our Roots” day.  Our staff and board members will be gathering at the NYCON Corporate Office in Menands, NY to clean up the outside grounds to continue our celebration in honoring NYCON and its history.

JOIN US! Whether it’s an hour, ½ day or all day, we’d love for you to join us between 11am – 4pm in helping spruce up and plant!

In addition to cleaning up, we will be planting a tree in honor of the 90th, as well as planting 23 flowers in recognition of the 23 Founding Members:
