Giving and Philanthrophy: A Series of Talks with Dr. Erszebet Gazekas at the University Club

The University Club Foundation, in partnership with Humanities New York, is hosting a series of six talks on Giving and Philanthropy that is set to start right after Labor Day.  We think your members, Board, staff, and other constituents might be interested in the talks.

Sociologist Dr. Erszebet Fazekas will present a wide-ranging look at all kinds of issues relating to Giving and Philanthropy.  The reading list (available at this link, along with the series outline) includes Pablo Neruda, Bill Gates, and Anne Lamott.

The series will be great for professional fundraisers, individuals who serve on boards, and anyone considering their personal philanthropic efforts.

Talks will take place on consecutive Thursday evenings from 6:00 to 7:30 from September 6 to October 11.   The cost is $12 per session or $60 for all six.

Please consider signing up for this series of talks and sharing this notice with your constituents.  This series is sponsored by the University Club Foundation and one need not be a University Club member to participate.
