Fab Five: Keri Kramer

Each newsletter, we will be featuring one or two of NYCON's staff so that you can put a face to a name and get to know a little bit more about your friends at NYCON by asking them FIVE, FABULOUS questions.  In this newsletter we are featuring our Client Coordinator of Innovative Charitable Initiatives (a NYCON Subsidiary), Keri Kramer.

1) Hi Keri!  Thanks for taking time to let our NYCON membership get to know you a little better.  How long have you been at NYCON and what is your current position?

Hello! I started in  April of 2017 as the Client Coordinator of  Innovative Charitable Initiatives (ICI,) one of NYCON’s subsidiaries. ICI  offers administrative support and fiscal sponsorship to fledgling or transitioning charitable organizations. Specifically, I handle all of the bookkeeping, client communication and support, and human resource administration for these organizations, to name a few.

2) What’s your favorite summertime frozen treat?

If I have to choose just one, I think it would have to be classic iced cream sandwiches. Strawberry popsicles are a close second though.

3) What do you like to do in your spare time?

In the summer I try to get outside as much as possible! Kayaking is definitely at the top of my list, and hiking too. I also spend a lot of time painting and refurbishing old furniture and stuff you find at estate and yard sales.  And I love to read, you can always find a book or two in my purse.

4) What’s one thing you are REALLY looking forward to in the remainder of 2018 (personal or professional)?

I’m really looking forward to Camp Finance in the fall. The first time I went as an attendee, and last year was my first time as a Camp Counselor, so it’s been cool to see the conference from both sides. Mohonk Mountain House is absolutely beautiful in the fall  and it’s great to meet so many people from all walks of the nonprofit world. Other than that, I always love the fall and holiday season. Can’t wait to get back to sweater season.

5) So the one question that everyone is getting asked, what is your favorite TV Show or Movie?

This is a tough one! For all-time favorite shows I love The Wire, The Sopranos  and Parks and Rec. As for movies, V for Vendetta, A League of Their Own and The Princess Bride are a few of my favorites, although I could go on and on.

That's great, Keri!  Thank you for taking time to let us get to know you better. If NYCON members want to get a hold of you, what's the best way?
