Program Coordinator-Livingston Arts

Program Coordinator – 35 hours/week

DECENTRALIZATION GRANTS PROGRAM:

  • Maintain and update grants mailing and email list.
  • Continually do research to locate,outreach and connect to nonprofit organizations, artists groups and individual artists to ensure they are aware of the three grants tiers.
  • Split time in both counties at two office spaces.
  • Schedule and conduct grant seminars throughout Livingston and Monroe Counties.
  • Create and disseminate promotional materials for grants program and seminars utilizing a variety of different marketing outlets including print, social media, email blasts and posting fliers.
  • Maintain consistent communication with potential grantees throughout the grant cycle.
  • Review applications from a WordPress platform.
  • Develop a diverse group of grants panelists for each county who are responsible for selection of grantees.

MEMBER’S EXHIBIT:

 

  • Reach out to the entire membership for artwork
  • Update registration form.
  • Work with marketing to promote the member’s show, reminding members to register and letting the general public know the dates of the show.
  • Accept and organize registration forms.
  • Hang the show and prepare for the opening

SCHOLASTIC ART SHOW:

  • Have consistent communication with the high school art teachers of Livingston County.
  • Update and send all art teachers proper forms for them to complete, including a form to nominate a student for an arts scholarship. Follow up with teachers who have not responded.
  • Bring student artwork to Livingston Arts and hang them throughout the two galleries.
  • Schedule and organize a reception to host students, teachers and their families to award students scholarships.

YOUNG ARTIST GRANT:

  • Notify all principals, superintendents, counselors and art teachers about the grant opportunity
  • Notify all art/music teachers via mail with pertinent information as well as marketing materials for them to disseminate to students.
  • Update and maintain high school art teachers, school superintendents, high school principals and counselors email list.
  • Update grant application and ensure it is published on the website in a timely
  • manner.
  • Organize a raffle to support the grant.

 Other Requirements:

  • Highly Organized and detail oriented
  • Must be able to multitask efficiently
  • Outstanding communicator
  • Must be willing to work nights and weekends
  • Works well independently and with others
  • Experience with Microsoft office, Wordpess, Mailchimp and social media platforms
  • Experience working in nonprofits a plus
  • Experience in grant writing a plus
