The Clemens Center in Elmira, NY, is currently seeking a seasoned development professional responsible for all fundraising activities including identification, cultivation, solicitation, and acknowledgement of current and potential donors.
Reporting to the Executive Director, the Director of Development will lead annual fund development and planned giving, foundation and corporate giving, project grants and special events. The Director will maintain and grow the Clemens Center’s individual and business membership. Working with Executive Director, the Director will engage, leverage and lead the Board of Trustees in development programs, and ensure that development activities align with the Center’s strategic plan to meet mission and ensure its financial health.
Key Job Responsibilities:
Position is accountable for growing the external funding of the organization. Work with the Executive Director on annual budget revenue and expense targets for department with input from department staff.
